The treatment is integrated into the polycarbonate and selectively filters precise light wavelengths. These are the wavelengths that cause confusion between similar colors. By reducing them, the lens creates more separation between tones that would otherwise look alike.

Each Spek frame accepts multiple lenses. You change them according to the light, terrain, or season.

The mechanism holds the lens with controlled pressure. No screws. No fragile clips. A system that holds when it needs to and releases when you want it to.

The nose piece can be manually bent to fit the shape of each face. Once adjusted, it retains its shape and holds the frame perfectly in place, both at rest and in motion. The hydrophilic silicone increases grip as the skin gets wet, eliminating slippage during exertion.

The EVO+™ photochromic lens automatically adjusts to ambient light, darkening when the sun is strong and lightening when the light diminishes, with a smooth and continuous transition.

Photochromic molecules are integrated directly into the lens material rather than applied as a surface coating, which means they do not wear out over time and react uniformly across the entire surface.

The result is a single lens that covers conditions from overcast to full sun, without having to change lenses along the way.

The SPEKTRA+™ lens forms the base, with selective filtering integrated into the mass that enhances terrain contrast. Three surface coatings are added on top: an anti-reflective layer on the inside, a hydrophobic and oleophobic treatment on both sides, and an anti-scratch layer on the outside. Integrated impact resistance completes the structure.
