Frequently Asked Questions

Do the Stryve II glasses stay in place while running?
Yes. The adjustable arms rest lightly behind the ear without applying pressure, and the rubber grips on the nose and temples prevent the glasses from bouncing during fast strides. Tested in marathons, ultramarathons, and track workouts, they stay in place from start to finish.
Which lenses for running?
For trails and outings that start atDAWN end at dusk, EVO+™ lenses automatically adjust to changing light conditions, from the shade of the woods to full sunlight. For the road and trail where light is more consistent, high-contrast SPEKTRA+™ lenses bring out the nuances of the terrain. All lenses are interchangeable, so you can switch between them depending on the ride.
Do glasses fog up during sustained physical activity?
The ventilated design allows air to flow continuously, even when your heart rate rises. The water- and oil-repellent coatings on the lens sweat and moisture without needing to be wiped. Tested during interval training, repeated climbs, and long rides in hot weather.
What is the warranty?
Two years for manufacturing defects in the frames, one year for the lenses. Beyond that, the SPEK Protection program entitles you to a 40% discount on the same pair if they are damaged while playing sports within two years of purchase. No paperwork—just a photo and confirmation that the damage occurred during an activity.
How do you clean your glasses after a muddy outing?
Rinse with cold water to remove dirt and sweat, then wipe dry with the microfiber pouch included with the glasses. The pouch also serves as a cleaning cloth. Avoid using paper, clothing, or chemicals that could damage the coatings.
Can I return the glasses?
Yes, you have 30 days to return or exchange your glasses, with return shipping costs covered by SPEK. Conditions: The glasses must be in pristine condition, free of scratches, and in their original packaging. If they were used during sports and don’t work for you, the SPEK Protection program covers activity-related damage.
