Frequently asked questions

Do the Stryve II sunglasses hold up on technical descents?
Yes. The adjustable temples wrap around the ear with no pressure, and the silicone grip points at the nose and temples prevent bounce through jumps, direction changes, and fast descents. Tested on trail running and mountain biking on singletrack.
Which lens should I choose for trail?
For most forest rides, EVO+™ photochromic lenses are ideal: they adjust automatically to changing light between shaded tree cover and sunny clearings. For rides above the treeline or in constant full sun, SPEKTRA+™ high contrast brings out terrain detail. All SPEK lenses are interchangeable.
Do the glasses fog up on long climbs?
The vented geometry lets air flow continuously, even during sustained climbs where your heart rate stays elevated for hours. Hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings on the lens shed sweat without wiping. Tested on trails from Mont-Royal to the Laurentians.
What is the warranty?
Two years on frame manufacturing defects. One year on lenses. Beyond that, the SPEK Protection program gives you 40% off the same pair if it's damaged in sport within two years of purchase. No paperwork. Just a photo and confirmation it happened during activity.
How do I clean the glasses after a muddy run?
Rinse with cold water to remove dirt and sweat, then wipe with the microfibre pouch included with your sunglasses. The pouch doubles as a cleaning cloth. Avoid paper, fabric, and chemicals that can damage the coatings.
Can I return the glasses?
Yes. 30 days for a refund or exchange, return shipping covered by SPEK. Conditions: glasses must be intact, unscratched, in original packaging. If they were used in sport and don't work for you, the SPEK Protection program covers activity-related damage.
